Repairs and Restoration
I am happy to consult on the conservation or repair of existing stained glass and leaded lights. While it is sometimes possible to make small repairs on site, for the most part the panels will need to be taken to the studio for repair or rebuilding. It can often be the case that a replacement panel is the best solution. All conservation and restoration work is done in line with the following principles:
- Reversibility
- Replacement of like with like
- Minimum intervention
- Retention of as much original glass as possible
- Accurate recording and documentation of all processes
